This privacy policy explains how VG Adventures CommV (trading as “Sielvol Afrika”) collects, uses, retains and protects your personal data when you visit our website or use our services. We handle your data with care, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

What data we collect

Depending on your contact with us, we may collect: your name, address and contact details (email, phone), financial data to process a booking, and — only where relevant to your trip — special categories such as dietary preferences, passport details and medical information. We never collect more than we need.

Why we process your data

We process your data on four legal bases: compliance with a legal obligation, performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest (such as providing a good service), and your consent. Specific purposes include: delivering our services, communicating with you, direct marketing (newsletter, only with consent), and managing personnel and suppliers.

How long we keep your data

Customer and supplier data are kept for up to seven years after the end of the contract, in line with our legal obligations. Applicant data are deleted within one month of the decision, or after one year where you give us consent to keep them longer.

Sharing with third parties

We only share your data within the European Economic Area (EEA), with appropriate contractual safeguards, or where we are legally required to. Access to your data is limited to those who genuinely need it. We never sell your data.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to request corrections.
